Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test Engineer located in Austin, TX.
Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, the Test Engineer will serve as a key technical lead and individual contributor for a new liquid-cooled server rack product line. You will drive launch and ongoing support of high-power AI/ML, GPU, and hardware accelerator-based server, storage, and networking platforms featuring advanced liquid cooling. This role owns test process development for full rack (L6,10/L11) assembly and integration-ensuring quality, performance, and safety-across NPI and sustaining production. You'll design procedures, automate test execution, analyze data for continuous improvement, and leverage liquid cooling expertise to deliver robust end-customer solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE/Electronics, or related field (MSEE or advanced degree preferred).
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in failure analysis and system-level testing within a high-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash), advanced Linux command-line operations, and hardware/network troubleshooting including the ability to train others on Linux fundamentals.
  • Expertise in computer and server hardware/software integration, diagnostics, and repair -particularly within a manufacturing or high-level assembly environment
  • Experience with DAQs and sensors (thermocouples, flow meters, pressure sensors).
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and its application to data-driven troubleshooting and decision-making
  • End-to-end development of the test operations process, including SOPs, work instructions, process flowcharts, operational activities, and destination routing.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Performing hands-on debugging, validation, and system-level failure analysis of next-generation server and rack systems within a high-mix, high-ambiguity manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Linux CLI proficiency, hardware integration expertise, and advanced troubleshooting skills across L6, and L10, test stages. Ability to train others on Linux basics.
  • System architecture understanding-how liquid cooling integrates with overall system testing.
  • Intermediate programming in Bash and Python.
  • Familiarity with liquid cooling components (pumps, radiators, cold plates, chillers, reservoirs, tubing, fittings, coolants).
  • Leak detection/prevention techniques and best practices.
