Job Description
Position Summary
The Test Engineer is responsible for the design, development, programming, implementation, and maintenance of automated test equipment and test fixtures used in the testing of power supplies and related electronic products. This role works closely with design and manufacturing teams to develop test procedures, create automated test programs, and ensure product quality through effective testing processes. The Test Engineer also supports existing products by maintaining and improving legacy test fixtures and programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain test fixtures for new and existing products.
  • Create and program automated test equipment (ATE) and test procedures for power supply testing.
  • Develop test profiles and automated test programs based on product specifications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers to ensure accurate and efficient test methodologies for new product development.
  • Perform validation and verification testing of power supplies and electronic assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test equipment, fixtures, and automated test programs.
  • Review, update, and maintain test fixtures and software programs for legacy products.
  • Analyze test data and provide recommendations for product and process improvements.
  • Support manufacturing and quality teams with product testing, failure analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain documentation related to test procedures, fixture designs, and testing methodologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, reliability, and product quality.
  • Work collaboratively with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
