Job description

This is a senior-level RF/Phased Array Test Engineering position requiring significant expertise in radio-frequency systems, software-defined radio (SDR) technologies, and phased-array antenna systems.

The role demands a highly qualified professional with 7-10 years of specialized experience who can lead complex test programs, develop comprehensive test strategies, and collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

This position is ideal for an experienced test engineer who combines deep technical knowledge of RF systems with strong analytical capabilities and proven program management skills. Signal processing capability is a plus.
Required Skills:
โ€ขBachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related scientific/engineering field.
โ€ขExperience in supporting test programs, timelines, and deliverables, and experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
โ€ขMinimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in RF/Phased Array/SDR test engineering
โ€ขWorking knowledge of RF systems, propagation, modulation, frequency planning, link budget analysis, and digital signal processing
โ€ขSystematic troubleshooting of complex RF and digital system issues
โ€ขExperience in phased arrays, including beamforming, beam steering, and array calibration
โ€ขAbility to create comprehensive test strategies, test automation frameworks, procedures, documentation, scripting (Python, C++, etc.)
โ€ขProficiency with spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes
โ€ขTesting for EVM, ACPR, phase noise, spurious emissions, and other key parameters
โ€ขExperience with far-field and near-field antenna pattern measurements
โ€ขProficiency in analyzing large test datasets and extracting meaningful insights using MATLAB or similar tools
โ€ขStrong verbal and written communication skills including collaborating with other on-site and/or remote technical team members, preparing and sharing technical results with others, and documenting work to aid other team members and activities
โ€ขAbility to work effectively with RF engineers, software developers, systems engineers, and program managers

Location:

Interim clearance is sufficient for the start of this assignment, however ACTIVE SECRET is HIGHLY preferred.
