The Test Automation Specialist

Testing professionals utilize Client delivery assets to plan and implement testing and quality assurance initiatives to ensure solution quality before deployment. Test Automation professionals provide specialized expertise in test automation using commercially available functional test tools. A Professional At This Position Level Has The Following Responsibilities:
  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Client.
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
  • Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Client.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2 or more years of experience in software QA testing
  • 2 or more years of experience testing mobile apps, IoT Platform and/or Cloud based solutions.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with Agile Delivery
  • 2 or more years of experience working on developing automated test suites leveraging one or more of the following tools: -Perfecto Mobile, Seetest, pCloudy, Headspin, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in one of the following: -Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Protractor, SoapUI, Postman, RestAssured, Karate -Test Frameworks: jUnit, TestNG, Mocha, Jest, XCUITest, EarlGrey
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience in one of the following: -Java / J2EE, Groovy, Python, Ruby
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with Continuous Integration, including two or more of the following build/deploy/version control tools: -Jenkins, Hudson, Bamboo, -Git, Mercurial, Subversion, Bitbucket, GitHub -Grunt, Gradle, Gulp, Maven, MS TFS
