Job description

Manage the new and used vehicles life cycles to ensure the vehicles are their best for customers. Pay rate is $12-$13 / hour to start.
The vehicles on the lot are the face of the organization, that's where our customers will make their first impression about who we are and how well we care for our vehicles. Staying on top of each vehicle's reconditioning process will help the vehicles get to market faster, maximizing the stores' profitability and sales turn rate. Great position for someone looking to get into sales, service or parts without any prior experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all the vehicles on the lot remain clean and presentable
  • Track used vehicle purchases and working with vendors to fix cosmetic defects both inside and outside of the vehicle
  • Work with our service and detail departments to efficiently prepare the vehicle so they can be marketed on the lot
  • Drive cars to clean any dust off the rotors, or perform a drive cycle to verify repair had been performed properly
  • Re-arrange the lot so it remains tidy and organized - keep fresh inventory moved around the lot
  • Update spreadsheets to document progress, update vendor pricing, track work needed on vehicles etc.
  • Update software with appropriate notes and communicate with sales team regarding status updates on vehicle reconditioning process
  • Stock vehicles into inventory and create service get ready's for advisors
  • Prepare, print and attach labels and stickers on vehicles
  • Work efficiently to stage vehicles as quickly as possible to maximize time to sale
  • Occasionally greet customers and put them on test drives / assist sales with customers when the store is busy etc.
