Job Description
Position Title: Test Technician 2
Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity for a Test Technician 2 with our client in Everett, Washington.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Metrics to define standards for productivity, quality, and cost. Incumbent is responsible for meeting all defined standards
  • Proficient in essential functions of Assembler 1 role
  • Troubleshoot and repair simple/basic electronic components, subassemblies, assemblies, and/or instruments according to defined procedures and instructions
  • Functional test items of intermediate-level complexity-electronic components, subassemblies, assemblies, and/or instruments-according to defined procedures and instructions
  • Train level 1 Test Technicians
  • Actively suggest ideas for process improvements and cost savings (improve time, reduce waste, etc.)
  • Follow all environmental health and safety policies and procedures; model safe work practices
  • Responsible for contributing to and supporting a positive and respectful workplace environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Electronics or higher is preferred
  • Two years of complex assembly experience, preferably in aerospace, required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with advanced soldering of small parts/components
  • Two to five years of practical experience working with complex electronic test equipment in a troubleshooting and repair environment
  • Military or trade school training in electronics, including digital and analog theory and solid-state circuitry, highly preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding written requirements, procedures, and specifications in relation to assigned tasks
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, circuit schematics, engineering change orders, and customer service repair instructions
  • Intermediate-level soldering skill required
  • Ability to work with all types of electronic test equipment
  • Strong focus and attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision; ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills
  • Comfortable working with computers and quickly learning/mastering new software and programs
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Suite.

  • Location: Everett, Washington (Osnite).
  • Pay Rate Range: $32/hr - $37/hr.
  • ITAR obligations are associated with this role; U.S. Citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, or protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a) (1), (3) is required.
