Description
The International Center for Language Studies (ICLS) has for more than 50 years provided high-quality language training programs to a wide range of clients. We are seeking flexible, experienced, and energetic part-time English-language instructors for opportunities to teach morning and afternoon classes in person in our Washington, DC language center. Our school is conveniently located in downtown Washington, DC near several metro lines and offers a rewarding and friendly work environment. We also offer opportunities to substitute teach and lead activities.
This is an in-person teaching position
Candidates MUST meet the following qualifications:

1. A degree in TESOL or closely related field OR a Bachelor's degree plus a TESOL certificate (or equivalent)
2. A minimum of one year of ESL/EFL teaching experience with adults (two years strongly preferred)
The following qualifications are strongly desired:
1. Experience teaching advanced grammar, business English, pronunciation, and/or academic/professional writing
2. Overseas teaching experience
3. Proficiency in a second language
4. Experience with Communicative Language Teaching
Hourly Pay Rate $25, this is an Hourly Exempt Position
Position Requirements
