Position Overview
We're seeking a Texas Licensed Residential Wireman to join our Residential & Light Commercial Service team.
This is primarily residential service work-not new construction or production wiring. You'll handle scheduled service calls and electrical projects, troubleshoot issues, perform repairs and installations, communicate directly with customers, and ensure every job is completed safely, professionally, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
You'll also have the opportunity to work alongside and help guide apprentices while developing your skills and growing with a local company.

Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Installation & Service
  • Install, repair, and troubleshoot residential electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, lighting, breaker panels, and related equipment
  • Perform electrical repairs, installations, and service upgrades
  • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and wiring plans
  • Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing tools and determine effective solutions
  • Make recommendations for equipment upgrades or improvements when appropriate
Customer Service
  • Handle scheduled residential service calls and projects
  • Clearly explain electrical issues, findings, and recommended solutions to customers
  • Explain equipment operation and answer customer questions
  • Provide professional, courteous service and build strong customer relationships
  • Complete accurate service documentation and reports
Teamwork & Field Support
  • Work effectively with apprentices, other electricians, and members of the service team
  • Help guide and support apprentices in the field
  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, inspectors, and other team members as needed
  • Maintain a professional and positive representation of A Team Home Services on every job
Safety & Organization
  • Follow NEC, OSHA, PPE, lockout/tagout, and company safety protocols
  • Ensure completed work meets applicable codes, regulations, and company quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Properly maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and assigned inventory
  • Track materials and complete required documentation

What You Bring
  • Current Texas Residential Wireman License (Required)
  • Residential electrical service and/or installation experience
  • Clean driving record

Compensation
  • Guaranteed Pay: Guaranteed earnings during your first 90 days while training and ramping into commission
  • Commission Plan: $75,000-$120,000+ annual earning potential
  • Signing & Retention Bonus: Up to $3,000 in milestone-based bonus opportunities
  • Bonus installments are earned at established employment milestones and are subject to continued employment and the eligibility requirements outlined in the offer letter
