Job Title: Forklift Operator (2nd Shift) ($20.00/hr.)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for the second shift from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This role involves the timely disposition and shipping of automobile parts to customers and module centers. The position requires unloading trucks, receiving parts through SAP, and managing returnable and empty packaging. You will contribute to continuous improvement in shipping performance and maintain a clean and safe working environment. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible. We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half. Apply Today!

Responsibilities

  • Ensure on-time disposition and shipping of automobile parts to customers and module centers.
  • Unload trucks and receive parts through SAP.
  • Identify damaged packaging in receiving and forward claims to the shift lead.
  • Manage returnable and empty packaging.
  • Drive improvements in shipping performance.
  • Monitor daily KPI such as on-time deliveries and trucks per day.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items for shipping.
  • Prepare and print shipping labels for packages.
  • Affix proper postage to each package for shipping.
  • Physically take items from company stock to fulfill orders.
  • Operate a fork truck.
  • Escalate transfer order and material issues to the logistics clerk on shift.
  • Cooperate effectively with team members, including subordinates, peers, and managers.
