Territory Sales Manager – South Central Region

Our client, a leading manufacturer of engineered stormwater and civil infrastructure solutions, is seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across the South Central U.S. This is an outstanding opportunity for a results-oriented sales professional who enjoys building relationships, influencing engineering specifications, and expanding market share within the civil infrastructure industry. Territory: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana & Mississippi

 

Position Summary

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and growing sales throughout the assigned territory by cultivating relationships with distributors, engineers, municipalities, contractors, and developers. This individual will manage the complete sales process—from specification development through project conversion—while executing a strategic territory growth plan.

Key Responsibilities

Meet and exceed territory sales and profitability objectives.

Build, maintain, and manage a healthy sales pipeline utilizing CRM tools.

Generate new business by securing product specifications and converting projects into sales.

Develop and strengthen relationships with distributors, contractors, municipalities, consulting engineers, developers, and end users.

Conduct technical presentations, Lunch & Learns, and educational seminars to increase product awareness.

Partner with internal engineering, technical, and operations teams to deliver effective customer solutions.

Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and regional opportunities.

Develop accurate sales forecasts and execute strategic territory business plans.

Travel throughout the assigned territory to support customers and business development efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

3+ years of outside sales experience in technical or industrial products.

Experience selling engineered products into the civil infrastructure, stormwater, water, wastewater, underground utilities, drainage, or construction markets is strongly preferred.

Proven ability to influence engineering specifications and manage long sales cycles.

Strong presentation, relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.

Experience working with distributors, contractors, municipalities, and consulting engineers.

Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with experience selling products related to stormwater management, drainage systems, precast concrete, underground utilities, waterworks, geosynthetics, erosion control, or other civil infrastructure products are encouraged to apply.
