Job description

The Territory Field Manager is responsible for managing both time and resources to ensure that plumbing job assignments are completed on time.ย  This position is responsible for making sure projects are fully staffed when appropriate and that workers can access tools and building materials. ย The Territory Field Manager is expected to work autonomously to accomplish his/her goals and requires an individual with strong organization, time management skills, and self-motivation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Management of daily functions of each plumbing phase: slab, rough, trim, and warranty
  • Communication of information captured in field to labor as well as other team members
  • Management of daily labor with respect to following appropriate schedules and timelines
  • Effectivemanagement of labor and materialson job level
  • Maintainingrelationships with customers
  • Manage the crews in conjunction with the Area Manager
  • Communicate with customers regarding all field activities
  • Meet customer demand
  • Drive the production rate toward company standards
  • Manage the field personnel including:
    • Run Crew Board
    • Rotate personnel into and out of the company as needed
    • Manage overtime
  • Work with the scheduling department to distribute work to the field to maximize skill sets
  • Train field personnel and provide a culture of learning.
  • Own Inspection results and drive efficiency through data
  • Own Quality
    • Inspections
    • Controls
  • Drive material efficiency and waste reduction
  • Own back charges and drive efficiency through data
  • Work with Operational Support Specialist (OSS) to cover costs and drive profit through EPO opportunities.
  • Support and own the implementation of technology
  • Support fleet management and driver eligibility
  • All other duties assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

  • High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, Bolt)
  • Fluent in Spanish a plus but not required
  • Valid driver's license for 3+ years and insurable with Company insurance company, required
  • 3+ years of New Residential Plumbing Experience
  • Must be able to pass a physical examination and obtain a medical card
  • NC Plumbing License a plus but not required
