Job description

Territory Sales Manager – Texas (TX/LA/AR/MS)
Company: Superior Cloth & Stitch (SCS) – Healthcare Apparel Brands: Wink, Carhartt & Fashion Seal
Location: Based in Dallas, TX (preferred)
Territory: Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi

The Opportunity:
Join SCS as the Territory Sales Manager (TSM) for our Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi territory, growing our branded apparel lines — Wink and Carhartt. This is an individual-contributor, on-the-road field sales role built for someone who loves being out in the field building personal relationships with local business owners — not managing accounts from behind a desk. The ideal candidate will spend ~80% of their time growing and nurturing existing accounts, and ~20% developing new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the territory sales plan
  • Maintain and expand top customer accounts (top 20 accounts currently represent ~80% of territory revenue).
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new independent and mid-sized retail accounts.
  • Sell primarily Wink and Carhartt, driving brand awareness, penetration, and in-field merchandising.
  • Report weekly activity and performance, managing pipeline and territory forecasting using Salesforce and Power BI.
  • Travel overnight 60-75% of the time (mix of driving and flying), set your own schedule
  • Partner with Sales Manager and coordinate with Marketing on in-field programs, promotions, and brand activations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in apparel required — uniform or medical apparel background strongly preferred.
  • A true "farmer" who thrives nurturing and growing an existing account base (~80% farmer / 20% hunter) — a field territory role, not a national or strategic account management position.
  • Comfortable calling on and building relationships with owners, buyers, store managers and key decision-makers in a retail environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Salesforce (CRM) and data tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Location requirement: Preferably based in Dallas, TX area to support travel and territory coverage.
  • Compensation: competitive base salary, plus up to 40% quarterly incentive, mileage reimbursement, and cell phone stipend.

Why SCS?
You’ll represent well-recognized, trusted brands with a strong legacy and growth focus. You’ll join a collaborative, growth-oriented team at SCS, given the autonomy to build a territory and drive success with both existing business and new account development.

EOE Statement:
Superior Group of Companies (SCS) is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability). Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, genetic information, or any other protected status.
