Welcome to Windham Mountain Club!


Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY. 


Seasonal Position: This role is available for the winter season.


Pay: 18-20 per hour based on experience
 

Anticipated Start Dates: December 15th through December 20th 

*This start date is weather dependent


Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays


Overview of Position:
 

The Terrain Park Crew builds, maintains, and operates terrain park features while ensuring a safe and enjoyable guest experience. Team members interact frequently with guests, promote park safety and etiquette, and help deliver high-quality terrain park conditions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, inspect, maintain, open, and close terrain parks.
  • Monitor park conditions and perform ongoing maintenance, including raking and shoveling.
  • Educate guests on park safety, enforce rules, and assist with safe riding practices.
  • Install and maintain fencing, signage, and safety padding.
  • Support terrain park events and collaborate with other departments.
  • Attend training sessions and perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Advanced snowboarder and/or freestyle skier.
  • Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with guests.
  • Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.


Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work on snow, ice, and uneven terrain for extended periods.
  • Bend, kneel, climb, reach, and balance while maintaining park features.
  • Tolerate cold, wind, snow, and changing weather conditions.
