YOUR DAY

As a Termite Annual Inspector, you will start your day by preparing your company vehicle and ensuring your tools, equipment, and PPE are ready for service. You will travel to customer properties to perform annual termite inspections, identify termite activity, assess damage, and determine appropriate treatment or prevention solutions.

Throughout the day, you will educate customers on inspection findings, treatment options, extended warranty coverage, and preventive measures. You will actively look for opportunities to add value through additional services and add‑on sales, while maintaining a professional, consultative sales approach.

You will perform termite treatments when applicable using approved methods such as electro‑gun, chemical injections, microwave systems, and other manufacturer‑approved techniques, following all label instructions, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Re‑treatments for re‑infested areas will be handled using the best method for each situation.

Your responsibilities will include preparing accurate inspection and treatment reports in compliance with SPCB requirements and company policies, typing reports on a company‑issued tablet, taking photos when needed, and communicating findings to management or technical leadership. You will confirm appointments daily with the office team and customers, collect payments when required, and follow up with unpaid annual customers to obtain payment and schedule service.

Responding to existing customer concerns, participating in monthly training and safety programs, maintaining all licensing and certification requirements, and following company safety procedures will be part of your routine. At each stop, you will pass out flyers to nearby homes, ask for referrals, and request online reviews to help grow our customer base.

YOUR SCHEDULE

As a full‑time Termite Annual Inspector, you will work a consistent schedule serving customers throughout the Ventura, CA area. Routes and daily assignments may vary based on service needs, but this position offers stable, full‑time employment as part of our dependable field service and sales team.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A TERMITE ANNUAL INSPECTOR
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to maintain all required licenses and continuing education units (CEUs)
  • Branch 3 Field Representative and Applicator License (or ability to obtain and maintain)
  • Electro‑gun training and certification as required by the manufacturer
  • Strong knowledge of termite inspection, identification, and treatment methods
  • Sales aptitude with a customer‑first, consultative approach
  • Math aptitude for measuring, mixing, and applying treatments
  • GPS/map reading and navigation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship‑building skills
  • Organization and time‑management abilities
  • Strong safety awareness and compliance with PPE and regulatory standards
  • Prior termite, pest control, inspections, or related sales experience preferred
