ย RAIL TERMINAL SUPERVISOR OF OPERATIONS

PRS Auto is growing, and we are excited to welcome a Rail Terminal Supervisor of Operations to our close knit team at the TDSI CSX rail terminal in Louisville. This is more than a job. If you are motivated, dependable, and ready to lead, we will provide the training and support you need to succeed. Prior rail, mechanical, or automotive experience is not required.
LOCATION: 7900 Crittenden Drive Louisville, Kentucky 40213.
THE ROLE:
As a Rail Terminal Supervisor of Operations, you will oversee daily terminal activity, including the unloading of brand new automobiles from railcars and the coordination of railcar maintenance activities. You will be a hands on leader responsible for safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction while guiding your team and keeping operations running smoothly.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Coordinate and schedule daily vehicle unloading from railcars.
  • Oversee and manage railcar maintenance activities to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
  • Lead, support, and motivate your team while monitoring productivity and performance.
  • Ensure all safety standards and procedures are followed consistently.
  • Communicate with customers and assist with equipment availability and planning.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and vehicle security.
  • Assign daily duties and manage staffing levels.
  • Work closely with terminal leadership to identify opportunities to improve operations and maintenance processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

COMPENSATION: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on experience and skill level.
