The 375 Park Avenue Spirits Area Manager  is a driven, self-motivated, and solution-oriented sales professional with strong in-market execution capabilities and a passion for building brands at the account level. This role is responsible for executing 375 Park Avenue Spirits’ brand-building programs and initiatives.

This is a field-based sales position accountable for achieving annual depletion and net sales value targets across the full 375 Park Avenue Spirits portfolio. Success in this role is achieved through the development and maintenance of strong working relationships with distributor partners, account managers and buyers, key retail accounts, and state agency personnel, where applicable.

Key Responsibilities (job responsibilities may vary by state depending on regulatory and compliance standards for the state):

  • Build and grow key accounts across the territory, ensuring strong execution in distribution, programming, education, staff training, and in-market visibility.
  • Partner closely with distributor sales teams, working independently to develop productive relationships and increase brand share of mind.
  • Execute national brand programs locally, ensuring consistent and effective market rollout.
  • Drive on- and off-premise execution, including menu placements, back-bar presence, displays, merchandising, and points of distribution.
  • Lead and participate in GSMs, sales meetings, and brand launches to educate distributor partners and customers.
  • Support annual planning efforts through collaboration and market input.
  • Manage local POS ordering, allocation, and in-market execution.
  • Plan and conduct regular distributor ride-withs and work-withs.
  • Execute retail tastings and sampling events to build trial, awareness, and visibility.
  • Monitor and report on market conditions, including distribution, pricing, displays, out-of-stocks, and competitive activity.
  • Manage territory activities within established T&E and A&P budgets.

Required

  • 3+ years of adult beverage experience (spirits required; no non-alc or general CPG)
  • Strong on-premise and/or off-premise execution background
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
  • Comfortable with frequent change and evolving priorities
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the NY territory
  • Willingness to work nights/weekends as needed
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Microsoft O365 proficiency and social media fluency
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage territory activities effectively
  • At least 21 years of age
  • travel upstate monthly

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • Experience with craft or boutique spirits, emerging brands, or beer distributors with spirits exposure

Physical

  • Standing for an extended period of time

  • Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 35 pounds without assistance

The annual salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
