What does a tent manager do?

A Tent Manager is responsible for overseeing the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of tents at events, festivals, or construction sites. They also manage inventory, schedule installations, and ensure that all tent structures are secure and weather-resistant. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a tent manager?

To thrive as a Tent Manager, you need expertise in event logistics, site planning, and tent installation, often supported by experience in event management or construction. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as CAD software for layout design, inventory management systems, and relevant safety certifications like OSHA are typically required. Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are vital soft skills for coordinating teams and ensuring client satisfaction.
