As we expand and elevate our tennis program, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Tennis Professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing program, inspire players of all levels, and help shape the future of tennis at our club.Work Objective

As a full-time Tennis Professional, you will provide high-quality tennis instruction to members and guests, ensuring their safety while delivering engaging and effective lessons. You will play a vital role in growing our tennis program, maintaining our courts, and building a strong community of players.

Essential Functions

The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within the work objective. It is not necessarily descriptive of any one position in the class. The omission of an essential function does not preclude upper management from assigning duties not listed herein if such functions are a logical assignment to the position.

  • Provide instructional lessons for students of all ages and skill levels.

  • Design, organize, and implement lesson plans tailored to individual or group needs.

  • Accurately input lessons into the Scheduler system for proper commissions and payments.

  • Perform facility maintenance, including care of clay and hard courts.

  • Share photos, videos, and program updates on social media platforms weekly.

  • Conduct both private and group lessons as needed.

  • Assist in the development of competitive players and support player progression.

Education
  • High School diploma required.

  • College degree preferred.

  • Current coaching certification required (USPTA, PTR, or iTPA).

Qualifications
  • 2โ€“3 years of teaching experience in a tennis facility.

  • Active membership with USTA, iTPA, or PTR.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
