Description

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Specialist will prioritize sales efforts with both end user and distributor customers to drive positive sales growth within the assigned territory. You will oversee and provide product familiarization and education to end user safety professionals and distributors across all Ergodyne product categories to ensure positive user experience.


As the primary sales representative for the region, you will lead and participate in multi-functional team efforts while understanding and effectively communicating all portions of the business.


To be successful in this role, you must possess a natural willingness to solve problems utilizing the products and tools offered to you and your customers across the risk hazards focused on and experienced by your customer base.


Travel to prospective client sites (end users and distributors) required 65% of the time.


You have already accomplished (required):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or another related field
  • 1-3+ year's Field Selling
  • Proficiency using Office Systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

You may have already accomplished (preferred):

  • Familiarity using CRM Systems
  • QSSP Certification

Key Job Responsibilities:

Develop relationships with new End-users and key decision makers while maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing End-user customers.

Manage all phases of the sales process from company/product introduction through the final agreement to purchase and implementation of Ergodyne product solutions:

  • Focus on New Product placement with End-users
  • Measuring outcomes and ROI for customers so solutions meet the customer's expectations
  • Meet or exceed Annual Sales Plan metric.
  • Manage Expenses within assigned budget.

Demonstrate strong territory management skills with the ability to network and generate leads, develop sales plans and manage results effectively:

  • Execute sales plans and strategies to reach potential End-user customers within the territory
  • Manage your distribution relationships and coordinate efforts with independent manufacturers' reps to support the territory's activities

Demonstrate strong selling skills:

  • Prospect and qualify leads, identify End-user customer needs, translate risk assessment to benefits, deliver effective solutions / demos, negotiate and close sales in partnership with distribution.

Discover and relay competitive intelligence to the Product Management Team.

Records and reports significant activity, sales pipeline and status of deals, projects and opportunities in CRM and monitors weekly.
