Job description

The Phlebotomist is directly responsible and accountable to the Laboratory Manager for the processing of order for laboratory tests, specimen collection of blood and urine for laboratory analysis, receiving and handling of patients in a courteous, professional manner in order to create good public relations and to maintain the work area in a clean manner with adequate supplies for the performance of the required job duties.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • 100 + Venipunctures.
  • CPR certification preferred.
