HR Coordinator

Our Client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to supports day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced, multi-shift manufacturing environment. This role provides employee support while assisting with recruiting, onboarding, temporary staffing, employee engagement, HR administration, and compliance.

Location: Faribault, MN

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $45000.00–$52000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and new hire orientation.

Coordinate temporary staffing agencies, including staffing requests, candidate submissions, start dates, assignment changes, and weekly timecard reporting.

Process offer letters, confidentiality agreements, background checks, and new hire documentation.

Maintain accurate employee files, HRIS records, and time/attendance systems.

Manage employee ID/security badges and uniform programs.

Review and process HR-related invoices.

Answer employee HR questions and provide information regarding benefits, time off, and company policies.

Conduct exit interviews and communicate findings to the HR Manager.

Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, service awards, events, and employee communications.

Support training, safety initiatives, and other HR programs.

Collaborate with HR team members, managers, employees, vendors, and staffing agencies.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable employment regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or a multi-shift environment.

Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and/or temporary staffing preferred.

HR certification preferred.

Fluent bilingual English/Spanish required.

Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.

Physical Requirements

Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, use hands/fingers, and climb stairs. Must have sufficient vision, hearing, and communication ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be provided as required.
