GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the HUM-Humanities department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
  • Teach courses in Beginning and Intermediate Spanish
  • Use teaching techniques in a manner that students can understand
  • Grade papers and submit students' grades in a timely manner
  • Maintain course-related records
  • Maintain scheduled office hours and meet with students as needed
  • Attend departmental meetings and/or other functions as needed
  • Attend professional development workshops as requested
  • Complete other necessary paperwork as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Doctorate or a Master's degree with a major in Spanish or a Doctorate or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Spanish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Spanish, or Master's degree in a related discipline with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Spanish.
