Job description

Job Title: Night Material HandlerJob Description

Join our team as a Night Material Handler where you will be integral in managing the flow of incoming products, ingredients, and packaging materials. You will ensure accurate checking into inventory and facilitate the seamless transfer of materials between the warehouse and production departments.

Responsibilities
  • Receive freight trucks filled with raw ingredients and materials.
  • Inspect and verify freight against Bill of Materials (BOM) and Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Communicate inventory updates to the receiving clerk.
  • Stock materials in the warehouse or deliver directly to the production department.
  • Operate stand-up forklifts, with training provided on the first day.
  • Perform basic warehouse duties such as cleaning and breaking down waste materials.
  • Recycle wrapping materials or pallets.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in forklift operation, particularly stand-up forklifts.
  • Experience in material handling and warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and handheld scanners.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with order picking, staging, loading, and quality control.
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.65 - $21.65/hr.
