Job description

This position is subject to U.S. export control regulations. Only U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, naturalized citizens, and lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for consideration. Individuals requiring visa sponsorship or working under a temporary visa status (e.g., H-1B, L-1, F-1, OPT, CPT, etc.) are not eligible for this role.
As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure and security processes that ensure our applications are secure, scalable, and highly available. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to automate and streamline our operations and processes.

Compensation:
$180,000-$200,000 base salary, plus equity, benefits, and other perks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security controls and processes in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Manage and optimize AWS environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Implement and manage container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using Python.
  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability management.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats.
  • Perform regular audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to security policies.
  • Mentor and guide junior DevSecOps engineers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevSecOps or similar role.

  • Proficiency in using GitLab for source control and CI/CD pipelines.
