Job description

Whether traveling for business or pleasure, Hyatt Regency McCormick Place has everything you'll need under one hotel roof with over 1258 guest rooms, 53 suites and 13,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. In addition, our conference center boasts nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.  You will rest comfortably in spacious rooms and suites. Enjoy international cuisine at Third Star, ramen bowls at Sixes & Eights or meet for drinks at ARC Bar. Relax in our indoor pool and reenergize in the 24-hour StayFit Gym. If you are hosting a meeting or event, our hotel gives you direct access to more than 2.8 million square feet of space at the country's largest convention center.

Greeters/Hosts are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests.  These individuals have the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interactions that include providing table accommodations and offering menu recommendations.  Greeters may be the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.  If you have worked as a restaurant host or restaurant hostess, your skills are invaluable to the position of Greeter at Hyatt.  Your restaurant job experience will give you the tools to be successful as a restaurant Greeter at Hyatt.

Third Star Restaurant is boldly inventive and internationally diverse, Third Star draws its inspiration from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago, the greatest event the world had ever seen. Represented by the third star on the Chicago city flag, the Expo was "nothing short of spectacular".

Wage information: The hourly wage for this position is $26.75

Availability:  This position is a temporary role to begin in May and go through August based on business need. Candidates will need to have a flexible schedule with availability to work AM and PM shifts.
