Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
Join our team in creating high-end exhibits for trade shows and store fronts. As a builder, you will play a vital role in assembling displays that captivate audiences and enhance marketing efforts. Collaborate with a team of tenured professionals and contribute to the creation of customized exhibits.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety by reading, understanding, and adhering to all safety rules and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and legible records, including timecards, material charge-out lists, and cut sheets.
- Safely and proficiently operate basic wood shop tools such as table saw, jointer, band saw, hand-held router, drill press, staple gun, nailer, and other related equipment.
- Precisely join various fabricated elements using fasteners designed for knock-down (KD) construction style.
- Work with a wide variety of materials, including lumber, plywood, MDF, acrylic, metal, laminate, wood veneer, plastics, and others.
- Utilize knowledge and experience to develop cut sheets that optimize material usage and minimize waste.
- Layout and construct shipping containers and crates efficiently, adhering to estimated times.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned work within estimated timeframes.
- Perform test-fitting procedures for exhibit components to ensure proper layout and set-up.
- Collaborate with team members in a cooperative manner and follow directions from supervisors.
- Assist with other assigned tasks.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of two years of construction experience.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read and understand detailed construction drawings.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks and responsibilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with electrical wiring is a plus.
- Prior experience in the exhibit building and tradeshow industry is a strong advantage.
- Must be able to work overtime hours as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
