Job description

Oklahoma Heart Institute (OHI) located in Tulsa, OK seeks a BE/BC Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join its Advanced Heart Failure Center, which offers a comprehensive array of heart failure therapies, a destination LVAD and all FDA-approved pulmonary hypertension and hypertrophic/amyloid cardiomyopathy therapies along with pulmonary artery sensor implants/monitoring, and access to multiple research trials. 

About the Position:

  • Candidates should be well-trained in all aspects of clinical cardiology and have completed or will complete a Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure
  • 100% Advanced Heart Failure Position
  • Join 3 AHF Physicians with dedicated APPs, coordinators, and personal scribe.
  • Provide expertise in the continued growth of our VAD Destination Therapy Program (Established in 2018)
  • Experience in management of cardiogenic shock and management of temporary mechanical circulatory support 
  • An interest in infiltrative cardiomyopathy, cardio-oncology, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and/or pulmonary hypertension welcome
  • Center is attached to Oklahoma Heart Institute & Hillcrest Medical Center facilitating outpatient IV diuresis, infusions, telemetry, and access to same-day hospital services (labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Smart Technology integrating Epic EMR with Ambient AI scribe technology available to automate documentation, reduces administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding, leading to better work-life balance and revenue.

 - J-1 waiver support via State Conrad 30, ARC, DRA, HHS based on location and specialty
