Staying organized and maintaining open communication with supervisors can also ease the transition and help ensure a successful temporary assignment.

What is a temporary USPS?

Temporary USPS jobs are short-term positions offered by the United States Postal Service, typically to help manage increased workloads during busy seasons such as holidays. These roles may include positions like mail handlers, clerks, or carriers, and usually last for a few weeks to several months. Temporary employees perform many of the same duties as regular staff, but without long-term employment benefits. These positions are a great way to gain experience with USPS and may sometimes lead to permanent employment opportunities.
