Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for an Outpatient Clinic to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in outpatient urology settings, including cystoscopies and vasectomies.
- Conduct and assist with suprapubic and Foley catheter changes and bladder installations.
- Perform bladder scanning and Post Void Residual (PVR) assessments.
- Facilitate nurse visits independently with proficiency in relevant urology procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Utilize Epic charting system for accurate patient record maintenance and documentation.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in urology and outpatient clinic settings.
- BLS certification is required; BSN is preferred.
- Possession of a valid Virginia state license or compact license is mandatory.
- Experience with Epic charting system is required.
- Ability to effectively interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation.
- Proficient in Foley catheter insertion and management.
