Job description

Join a team that supports some of the most demanding industries in the world — including aerospace, defense, space exploration, and advanced manufacturing. As a Hydrostatic Testing Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, quality, and performance of high-value components used in mission-critical applications. Your work directly supports industries where precision, compliance, and attention to detail are non-negotiable

This is a temporary, full-time role expected to last 3 months with the possibility for an extension depending on workload. This is an onsite role working at the facility in Hatfield, PA. The work hours are flexible Monday-Friday, 6am to 2:30pm; 7:00am to 3:30pm, or 3pm-1130pm. We are open to first, second or swing shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs hydrostatic pressure testing inspections and material handling (cutting, trimming, marking) of materials as assigned by the Ultrasonic & Hydro Testing Supervisor.
  • Follows all applicable and required specifications and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with test requirements.
  • Ensures that the test equipment and instruments are functioning properly and in calibration prior to performing any tests.
  • Informs Ultrasonic & Hydro Testing Supervisor and/or Coordinator whenever any equipment is found to be out of calibration or in need of repair.
  • Unpacks materials received for testing and repackages the materials for shipping after testing has been completed.
  • Ensures accurate traceability throughout entire testing and marking processes.
  • Communicates job details to fellow hydro technicians and department Supervisor as needed.
  • Meets testing schedule as direct by department Supervisor and communicates if issues arise that may jeopardize testing deadlines.
  • Assists with maintaining test equipment, which includes cleaning of equipment and performing preventative maintenance as scheduled.
  • Maintains assigned work area(s) in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
  • Understands and complies with LTI’s QA Program at all times.
  • Seeks clarification when specifications or directions are unclear.
  • Always complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Always follows all safety rules and regulations and utilizes personal protective equipment, as required.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the department Manager or Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Forklift Operator experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents required.
  • Ability to identify damaged or missing materials from orders.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to process work with a high level of accuracy with minimal supervision.
  • Must meet citizenship eligibility required by accrediting bodies.
