Job description

Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, process laboratory environment, or hands-on research facility. Celanese job title is Technician, Innovation & Science. Mechanical acumen and chemical handling experience preferred. Experience with a motorized pallet jack is preferred. Employee must be able to work independently with limited instruction. Must be able to lift up to 50-lbs and move heavy items with assistance occasionally. Computer skills and the effective use of Microsoft Word and Excel relating to data manipulation and report generation are required. *additional screening required- physical Responsibilities: Provide technical support by operating lab pilot-scale mixers, pumps, tanks, and high speed mechanical processing equipment according to a provided trial plan or procedure. Perform physical and visual quality evaluations. Attention to detail is critical. Review of process controls and data for report out and further optimization. Effectively communicate data and trial learnings to coordinator for continuous improvement.
