Job Opening: Trading Card Processing Specialist at Monmouth Cards

Location: New Jersey Type: Full-Time

About Us: Monmouth Cards is New Jersey’s premier trading card retailer, with multiple locations and a loyal customer base. We specialize in trading cards, collectibles, and hosting exclusive events, bringing the excitement of the hobby to our community.

We are looking for a Card Processing Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in managing and processing trading cards through our inventory system to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Accurately process trading cards into our system, including data entry of card details (e.g., set, year, player, grade, serial number, and other key attributes).

Grade and evaluate cards for condition (experience with grading standards is a plus).

Manage card inventory and organize cards for sales, storage, or displays.

Assist in pricing cards using internal guidelines and tools such as eBay and market comparables.

Work with the retail and live stream breaking teams to ensure cards are available and processed for sale or display.

Handle customer inquiries related to card inventory as needed.

Maintain accuracy and organization within the inventory system.

Qualifications:

Passion for trading cards and collectibles; knowledge of sports cards is a big plus.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with data.

Familiarity with card grading standards (PSA, BGS, SGC, etc.) is highly desirable.

Comfortable using inventory and POS systems; experience with Lightspeed or similar platforms is a plus.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
