Temporary torpedoes are typically devices or systems used in naval operations as a provisional or short-term solution for torpedo deployment, testing, or training. They are not intended for long-term use or actual combat scenarios, but rather serve to simulate torpedo launches or to test systems under controlled conditions. Temporary torpedoes may also refer to non-lethal or dummy torpedoes used during exercises to ensure safety while maintaining training realism. Their design allows for repeated use and easy recovery, making them cost-effective for practice and evaluation purposes.

Daily tasks may involve hands-on assembly, troubleshooting, and documentation, often requiring collaboration with engineers, technicians, and project managers.
