RPM Development Group is seeking a qualified and professional candidate to fill the temporary position of Receptionist for an anticipated period of approximately six months.


Role Description:

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for residents, applicants, vendors, and visitors. This role manages front desk operations by answering and routing calls and emails, greeting visitors, providing accurate information, and ensuring inquiries are documented and directed to the appropriate team members. The Receptionist demonstrates a professional presentation and delivers excellent customer service, supporting a welcoming office environment and efficient communication across internal teams and external partners.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist residents, applicants, vendors, and visitors; maintain a welcoming, professional front desk environment.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls; monitor voicemail and shared inboxes; take accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Schedule appointments as needed and coordinate meeting space; maintain visitor sign-in procedures and notify staff of arrivals.
  • Provide general information to vendors, residents and applicants and route inquiries to the appropriate team member; document inquiries and outcomes as required.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries; assist with outgoing mail, courier pickups, and package tracking as needed.
  • Maintain orderly front desk and office files (electronic and paper) in accordance with company policies, privacy requirements, and retention guidelines.
  • Maintain professional communication and appearance; handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to route requests, share updates, and support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Perform other administrative duties assigned to support office efficiency and high-quality customer experience.


Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or administrative certifications are a plus.
  • 1+ year of receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience preferred (property management experience a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer service and de-escalation skills.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort learning new systems; Yardi experience preferred.
  • Bi-lingual a plus.


Working Conditions:

  • Ability to climb stairs, take elevators, bend, squat, reach overhead and lift up to 25 pounds at times.
