Job description

Quality Control (QC) Associate

Job Summary
The Quality Control Associate is responsible for inspecting incoming, stored, and outgoing products to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer requirements. This role helps maintain product quality, supports inventory accuracy, and ensures compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

    • Inspect incoming materials and finished goods for quality and accuracy.
    • Identify, document, and report damaged, defective, or non-conforming products.
    • Ensure products meet company specifications before shipment.
    • Maintain accurate quality inspection records and reports.
    • Work with warehouse and operations teams to resolve quality issues.
    • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.
    • Assist with inventory audits and product traceability as needed.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce quality defects.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in quality control, warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain is preferred.
    • Basic knowledge of quality inspection methods and documentation.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to use basic computer applications (Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems is a plus).
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
