Title: Loading Technician
Location: Manitowoc, WI
Salary: Starting Wage $20.00 per hour and up based on experience
Schedules available: 1st shift (5:00am - 3:00pm) and 2nd shift (3:00pm - 1:00am) working Monday through Thursday

Loading Technicians Essential Job Functions:
  • Operate loading and priming equipment while following checklists, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Use precision measuring instruments for quality monitoring.
  • Utilize site production software effectively.
  • Perform mechanical adjustments, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements, including cleaning the work area, energy control, and wearing required PPE.
Loading Technician Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong mechanical, mathematical, reading comprehension, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack preferred.
  • Attributes: intellectual curiosity, passion for machinery, positive attitude, self-discipline, and commitment to Winchester's mission.
  • Must be a detail-oriented individual with high degree of quality and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated safe work practices, ability to work independently and within a team environment, and strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Location-Specific Requirements:
  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
