As a First Year Tax Professional, you'll receive training and support to prepare individual tax returns and assist clients throughout the busy tax season. This seasonal position is ideal for individuals seeking temporary employment, flexible scheduling, supplemental income, or an opportunity to explore a career in tax preparation. No prior tax experience is required. We provide the training you need to succeed. Many of our seasonal team members return year after year, and top performers may have opportunities for future seasonal employment and career growth.


About the Role


As a First Year Tax Professional, you will assist clients with their tax preparation needs during the busy tax season.


Responsibilities


  • Meet with clients to gather information needed to prepare their tax returns.
  • Prepare individual tax returns using company-provided software and training.
  • Review financial documents and identify eligible deductions and credits.
  • Explain tax return information and filing options to clients.
  • Provide exceptional service and build trust with clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client information.
  • Complete required training and continuing education programs.
  • Support office operations during the busy tax season.


Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
