Job description

PVD Coating Machine Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for PVD Coating Machine Operators for a company based in Oldsmar, FL. In this fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to cross-train in multiple departments and gain valuable knowledge. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining vacuum coating machines.
 
Pay Rate 
1st shift: $16.00 per hour
2nd shift: $17.00 per hour
3rd shift - $ 18.00 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours 
1st shift – Monday - Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
2nd shift – Monday – Friday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
3rd shift – Monday – Friday from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
 
PVD Coating Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Operate vacuum coating chambers for coating precision parts.
  • Operate, light troubleshoot, and maintain PVD equipment and coating chambers. 
  • Assist with grit blasting, cleaning, and fixturing parts as needed.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of production through the department.
  • Review drawings and specifications to determine parts to be masked, cleaned, or coated.
 
PVD Coating Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school education or equivalent. 
  • 1+ years of relevant experience as machine operator
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Attention to detail and mechanical inclined. 
  • Able to lift 50 pounds at minimum.
