WHAT WE'RE DOING
An engineer working in the System Safety Engineering group will contribute to a wide variety of projects based on our business needs. The role involves working as an independent contributor alongside team leadership to perform Systems Safety Engineering tasks in support of project objectives.
As a Senior System Safety Engineer, you will be part of a team of experienced safety and specialty engineers working on various missile launching system programs. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to analysis and design support efforts for all aspects of the system safety programs, ensuring that safety is integrated into the hardware and software of these products.
Key Responsibilities:
-Analysis and design support for system safety programs.
-Requirements analysis, interface analysis, and operations analysis.
-System safety test and verification.
-Collaboration with other Senior Safety Engineers to ensure safety is crafted into products
Guidance and Development:
-Direct guidance from senior safety engineers familiar with the product line
-Opportunity to grow skills and understanding of System Safety Engineering
-Contribution to improving and evolving the System
Safety process and methodology
Overall:
This role offers a chance to work on critical system safety programs, develop valuable skills, and contribute to the development of safe and reliable missile launching systems. With guidance from experienced senior safety engineers, you will have the opportunity to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact on the safety of these products.
