Job description

Eaton Corporation is looking for a Director Supply Chain Management. This position will be based in Syracuse, NY. It can also be based in other Eaton hub locations.

Position Overview: Reporting to the President, Americas, Global Energy Infrastructure (GEIS) business and functionally to the Director SCM, GEIS Global, the Director will support a $1.6B business with 2,500 employees in NA. The Director of Supply Chain Management provides strategic and operational leadership over end-to-end supply chain activities, including planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance. The role ensures alignment between supply chain strategy and business objectives, driving service excellence, cost optimization, and working capital improvement

Essential Functions: Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business and financial goals Lead demand and supply planning, inventory management, and network optimization Oversee procurement, supplier performance, and strategic sourcing initiatives Manage logistics, distribution, and transportation strategy Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs and performance dashboards Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Engineering Lead, develop, and mentor supply chain leaders and teams Develop a profit plan forecast for following year and drives achievement during current year - 24-month rolling, including a 5-year Strategic Plan Develop and deploy regional SCM strategy along with commodity category leaders to deliver YOY cost reduction and meet profit plan commitments for the business. Frame global business opportunities and support growth of product families inside and outside of all relevant GEIS networks Required Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of progressive supply chain or operations experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior leadership or director-level roles.

Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and planning processes. Proven ability to lead transformation and change initiatives. SIOP experience and success leading the process Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

A Master's degree is preferred. Compensation: Eaton recognizes this role as a critical position within the corporation and will create a compelling package consisting of a base salary, employee incentive compensation, long term incentive and complete benefits. Location: This position will be based in Syracuse, NY.
