Job description

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT required).
  • BLS certification.
  • 3-5 years MRI experience preferred; minimum 2 years acceptable. Client requires 3-5 years in MRI.
  • Experience with GE and Siemens MRI systems required, including GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, and Siemens Magnetom Skyra.
  • Experience with a high-volume hospital setting preferred. Client notes weekly census of 250-300 patients and exposure to outpatient, inpatient, and ED populations.
  • Experience with patients who have implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, whole body, and cardiac imaging preferred.
  • Experience using EPIC electronic charting and McKesson PACS required.
  • Ability to work in a Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU environment preferred.

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift Name: Evenings.
  • Shift Details: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
  • Duration: 13 week travel assignment.
  • Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
  • Orientation: 3 days of orientation.
  • Weekend Rotation: Maximum every 3rd weekend.
  • Floating: None. MRI only.
