Position Title: Permanent Elementary Substitute Teacher (Temporary Position)

Terms of Employment: 10 month position, 6.67 hours per day
Daily assignments will vary and may include both certified and paraprofessional coverage
Salary: Based on BA Step 0 of the salary schedule

Summary/Objective:
Riverside School District 96 is seeking a dedicated Permanent Substitute Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a temporary position designed to provide consistent instructional support across classrooms and programs.
Qualifications / Skills:
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) or Substitute License registered in Region 06 West Cook
  • Elementary K-9 Endorsement (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
