Job description

As a Temporary Student Worker, you will gain hands-on experience from some of the best caregivers in the field. You willassistwith various administrative, clerical, patientserviceand operational support tasks, offering a unique opportunity to enhance your customer service,technologicaland organization skills within a healthcare setting. Come experience first-hand the dynamic,innovativeand explorative culture at Cleveland Clinic.

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am to 4:30pm or 11:00am to 8:00pm at Akron Medical Office Building. This role will float between locations as needed. Further requirements include covering 1-2 evenings per week and 2 weekend per quarter. This is a full-time role that will work around your school schedule.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Assistwith administrative, clerical, patientserviceor operational support duties.
  • Maintain equipment,filesand databases while following all department procedures and guidelines.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities or meetings and recommend actions to improve results.
  • Assistswith patient service functions when trained and assigned.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Additionaleducation/training and experience in applicable roles/settings

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • High School Diploma/GED

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires occasional computer entry, sitting, standing and walking to attend meetings.
  • Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $15.00

Maximum hourly: $150.00
