Job description

A Sterile Processing Supervisor opportunity is available in Loxahatchee, FL at a 204-bed hospital in Palm Beach County that includes a Primary Stroke Center designation, a Level II NICU, a full-service Children's Hospital, and a dedicated New Life Center, along with services spanning orthopedics, robotics, and interventional radiology.
The role. The Supervisor of Sterile Processing leads a team of 3 FTEs in the decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment to support patient safety. This position oversees quality control procedures, performs and validates sterilization tests, and ensures the department operates in full compliance with standards set by the Joint Commission (JC), OSHA, CDC, and AAMI. The supervisor is responsible for the training and development of sterile processing staff, as well as managing instrument and equipment inventory and workflow. This role also requires active collaboration with other hospital departments to coordinate instrument availability and service delivery.
What we're looking for.
• High School Graduate / GED
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or equivalent certification is required
• Previous experience in sterile processing, with a minimum of 2–3 years
• Must have minimum 1 year of leadership experience
• In-depth knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control, and automated sterilization systems
Schedule. Full-time, days, no weekends.
Compensation. $20.00 - $28.50/hr plus Relo - up to 5K w/ HR approval
