Basic Function
This is a professional expert, short term temporary hourly opportunity.
The Kern Community College District's is seeking experienced Solar Energy professionals to deliver Solar Photovoltaic and Photovoltaic installation instruction for students in our Energy Careers Training program.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years Solar experience required. C-46 contractor's license, Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree desirable.
Knowledge & Abilities
ABILITY TO:
  • Meet schedules and timelines.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Travel as required
  • Establish good working relationships with a variety of individuals and organizations and facilitate inter-organizational cooperation.
  • Learn College and District organization and applicable operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilize internet research, computer word processing, electronic mail, and spreadsheet programs.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
