The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost and duration of various projects, ensuring that proposals and contracts are competitive and profitable. Type of Hire: Temp to Hire Title: Estimator Location: Santa Maria, CA Work Schedule: Monday- Friday Compensation: $25-$45 PRINCIPAL DUTIES: - Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

- Consult with clients, vendors, and internal team members to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. - Conduct site visits to gather essential information for project estimates. - Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and timelines for project completion.

- Evaluate and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and terms. - Maintain and update a database of historical costs to improve accuracy in future estimates. - Present estimates and reports to senior management and clients.

- Monitor and adjust project estimates based on changes in scope, materials, or labor costs. Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as an estimator. - Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs.
