Job description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Supply Clerk to join our vehicle sustainment team in Charleston, South Carolina. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Works to help the flow of shipments both inbound and outbound in the manner that is most cost effective and coordinates the distribution point of incoming and outgoing material.
* Routes outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls and coordinates common carrier activities.
* Utilizes logistics software, maintaining customer database network system and profile by customer location.
* Manages load utilization and references DOT regulations on hours of service.
* Updates information for each customer and maintains customer delivery time windows.
* Responsible for tracking raw materials and manages communications associated with logistics distribution of material.
* Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: * 2+ years of relevant experience:
* Experience in data entry to query and enter information for supply, acquisition, and inventory purposes, pull and stage equipment for shipment, package equipment for shipment and prepare the necessary paperwork, staging and shipping equipment for repair.
* Experience in inventory and requisition supplies, maintaining stock of supplies and equipment, operating material and handling equipment.
* Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver's License for the location in which the work will be performed, and a High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications: * Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply system as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
* Willingness to accept temporary US or OCONUS transfers to other assignments, if needed. Clearance Requirements: * Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position Physical Requirements: * Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
* Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
* Must be able to work in high noise areas.
* Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
* Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard
