Description

Summary:

The Digital Content Specialist II is responsible for developing and maintaining digital communications throughout the consumer journey. The Specialist is responsible for evaluating, planning, organizing, managing, and contributing to CHRISTUS Health’s digital content areas in an effort to achieve the CHRISTUS’ marketing, branding and messaging objectives. Responsible for writing and copy-editing content that drives engagement within the CHRISTUS Health’s digital landscape, the ideal candidate should be a master storyteller.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Consumer Journey and Consumer Lifecycle communications with the Program Manager of UX/Content
  • Collaborate internally and externally to ensure optimization of consumer experience communications
  • Interview subject matter experts, patients, and leaders to produce engaging digital content
  • Write and edit omnichannel consumer facing messages and content for CHRISTUS external facing digital channels including but not limited to CHRISTUS Health’s websites, consumer emails, blogs, etc.
  • Review and optimize existing content
  • Create and administer the consumer experience governance process that provides for submissions of changes and proper approvals
  • Identify opportunities to improve the consumer experience and identify customer pain-points and challenges
  • Inform decision-making through the creation of customer-centric tools such as journey maps and personas

Requirements:

Education/Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills
  • Proofreading training is a plus
  • Passion for storytelling
  • Ability to maintain a balance of editorial, digital, marketing and technical skills
  • Understands and navigates various digital content platforms and analytical tools (i.e. Content Management Systems, marketing automation, etc.) and has experience with WordPress or Sitecore
  • Working understanding of search engine optimization and impactful writing using targeted keywords

Experience

  • Minimum five years of marketing content writing experience
  • Proven work experience as content specialist, strategist or similar role with portfolio samples
  • Experience in the healthcare industry a plus
  • Experience in managing multiple projects with tight and competing deadlines
  • Experience with Sitecore 8-10 and Oracle Eloqua is a plus
