Job description
Snelling is recruiting for a Meter Processing Representative for a copier company in the Cullman, AL area. The Meter Processing Representative supports meter reading operations by processing meter data and ensuring accurate customer billing.
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00
Pay: $16.00/hr to start

Key Responsibilities of Meter Processing Representative:
- Prepare and enter transactions to initiate or correct customer billing
- Perform data entry for name changes, rereads, and billing adjustments
- Review customer billing history to support accurate corrections
- Process and verify readings transferred via electronic meter reading systems
- Schedule customer appointments for meter reading issues, as needed
- Run and work assigned reports using existing or new systems
- Perform clerical duties including typing, filing, mail handling, and message routing
Qualifications & Skills Required of Meter Processing Representative:
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and standard office equipment
- Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of utility rates and billing codes
- Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with both internal teams and external customers
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and clerical skills
