Job Description:
The University of Florida Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine is seeking board-eligible or board-certified applicants for a clinical faculty position in Pulmonary and Critical Care. The selected candidate will join our rapidly expanding team and serve as an active and integral member of the division. This is a full-time appointment in the Department of Medicine at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the tenure or non-tenure track, commensurate with education and experience.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the full spectrum of divisional clinical responsibilities, including a heavy outpatient pulmonary clinic presence, pulmonary consult service and ICU coverage, and night/weekend ICU coverage. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in academic medicine and a commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Requisite attributes include a commitment to service, a strong sense of teamwork and a desire to train tomorrow's doctors. Foreign national candidates whose employment conditions meet federal and University requirements under an immigrant classification are eligible to apply.
MD or equivalent plus completion of a Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship, and eligible for a Florida Medical License.
